Arid Club

In 1987, the historic Arid Club settled in its present home nestled by the Boise River. South Beck & Baird was a sub-consultant on the overall design team and focused on site assessment, site layout and building location. SBB was also responsible for landscape and irrigation design.

The Arid Club is a unique client and SBB worked to help develop a true sense of place for the imposing clubhouse. SBB worked to seamlessly integrate the multiple outdoor dining and gathering areas with the overall landscaping. Design plans created frame views toward the river and out to the mountains where possible. Outdoor pergolas and a natural rock accent wall create a comfortable and private setting for guests.
